Gold has long been used as a highly dependable and consistent dental restorative material. Restorations created with gold alloys have numerous favorable properties, including longevity and bio-compatibility.

Full-Cast Gold

At Northwest Dental Arts, we create beautiful gold crowns, inlays, and onlays with many different alloys, tailored to the specific needs of the case. Gold is one of the most bio-compatible materials used in dentistry. A gold restoration is well-suited for posterior cases and ideal for patients for many reasons. We partner with Strategy Milling for gold restorations in order to ensure consistency, quality, and margin integrity.

(Ron) has also been able to do things with porcelain that none of my other labs has achieved and his gold work is hands down the best I’ve ever had.

Porcelain (PFM)

Porcelain fused-to-metal restorations have long been the staple of restorative dentistry. PFMs are strong enough to resist heavy biting force while still maintaining esthetics using the latest in feldspathic porcelain technology.

Additional esthetics can be achieved by preparing the tooth for a porcelain shoulder margin. The metal substructures in PFMs are excellent in supporting long span bridges.

His [Ron’s] crown-and-bridge work have been nothing short of outstanding in aesthetics and fit. Prompt delivery and attention to both doctor and patient schedules has made this working relationship very pleasant.
